The study was conducted in a qualitative design. The target group was 20 Chinese heritages from 10 families. The research instruments were 1) a questionnaire with an aim to investigate the background, the uses, and the cultural inheritance of language among Chinese heritages in Sisaket town municipality, Sisaket Province and 2) interview with an aim to provide qualitative data to such matter. The result of the study indicated that few uses of Chinese both Mandarin and other dialects were found due to the influence of the Thai language and the fact that Chinese heritages marriage to Thais. As a result, Thai language becomes the center of communication in Chinese heritage society. However, some still use Chinese on their daily basis. Similarly, the cultural inheritance of language among Chinese heritages in Sisaket town municipality, Sisaket Province was also be rarely found. With the influence of Thai and marital reasons, the Chinese choose not to transfer their cultural heritage of language to other generations. On the other hand, Chinese cultures are instead transferred via objects, traditions, cultures, and festivals, and it still appears till the present days. In summary, although Chinese culture in the form of language has been abandoned in the area, traditions and cultures in other forms are still transferred to other generations of Chinese heritages.&nbsp;</p> ER -
