The study was conducted using the Design Thinking process and consisted of three phases. In Phase 1, the needs assessment was conducted based on user experiences in welding. The sample group included 10 students from the welding program at Kam Muang Vocational College and 5 instructors and experts in welding. The findings revealed that current teaching methods failed to effectively meet student needs due to the lack of accessible, hands-on learning materials. In Phase 2, the design and development phase, the sample included two instructors from Kam Muang Vocational College and Maha Sarakham Technical College, as well as three experts in learning management and content. The developed learning innovation was found to support students’ self-directed learning. In Phase 3, evaluation and reflection were carried out with a group of 20 vocational certificate students and two welding instructors from the aforementioned colleges. The satisfaction evaluation showed an average score of 4.4 out of 5, equivalent to 88.5%, indicating a high level of satisfaction with the learning activity package.</p> Somphong Gaiyafai, Saiyut Poopuy, Wisarut Payoungkiattikun Copyright (c) 2025 Vocational Education Central Region Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/IVECJournal/article/view/276667 Mon, 30 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0700 The Development of a Results–Based Management Model for Provincial Waterworks Authority Supervisors https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/IVECJournal/article/view/284801 <p>The objectives of this research were to 1) study the components of results - based management of provincial waterworks authority’s supervisors and 2) develop a results - based management model for provincial waterworks authority’s supervisors. The research sample consisted of 16 vocational certificate students, 2nd year, Group 3, in the Automotive Power Transmission Course, Automotive Technology Department, Suphan Buri Technical College, during the second semester of the academic year 2023. The sample was selected using purposive sampling. The research instruments included: Video media for teaching and learning on Differential Gear in the Automotive Power Transmission Course. A performance skill assessment form for differential gear disassembly and assembly in the Automotive Power Transmission Course, used to compare practical skill achievement. A student satisfaction questionnaire regarding learning with video media on Differential Gear in the Automotive Power Transmission Course. The statistical analyses used were arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and t-test for dependent samples to test hypotheses. The research findings revealed: 1) The effectiveness of the video media for teaching and learning on Differential Gear in the Automotive Power Transmission Course showed process efficiency (E1) of 82.69 and product efficiency (E2) of 87.13 (E1/E2 = 82.69/87.13), which is higher than the set criterion of 80/80. 2) Students who learned using the video media on Differential Gear in the Automotive Power Transmission Course had post-learning disassembly and assembly skills for differential gears significantly higher than pre-learning skills at a statistical significance level of 0.01. 3) Students expressed the highest level of satisfaction with the video media for teaching and learning on Differential Gear in the Automotive Power Transmission Course.</p> Suphachai Yusri, Krittanat Thararattannasuwan Copyright (c) 2025 Vocational Education Central Region Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/IVECJournal/article/view/284697 Mon, 30 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Effects of Non-Formal Education Activity Using the Andragogy Concept on Online Sales Skills of Vocational Students https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/IVECJournal/article/view/284873 <p>This quasi - experimental research aimed 1) To develop non-formal education activities using andragogy concept towards online sales skills of vocational students in Singburi Province. 2) To study the effect of non - formal education activities using Andragogy Concept towards online sales skills of vocational students in Singburi Province. The sample consisted of 807 high school students in Bangkok under the jurisdiction of the Basic Education Commission in the academic year 2022. The sample was selected using Multi-stage Random Sampling. The a questionnaire developed based on the Theory of Planned Behavior framework, comprising 5 sections. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation coefficients, and linear structural equation model analysis. The research findings were as follows: The causal model of online learning behaviors among high school students in Bangkok fits well with empirical data (Chi-square/df = 2.33, SRMR = 0.027, RMSEA = 0.041, CFI = 1.00, GFI = 0.97, AGFI = 0.96, CN = 496.89). Latent variables of Attitude-Behavior, Subjective Norm, and Perceived Behavioral Control directly influence Intention toward online learning, with effect sizes of 0.23, 0.16, and 0.44, respectively, all statistically significant at the 0.05 level. These three variables collectively explain 58 percent of the variance in Intention toward online learning. Intention, influenced by latent variables of Attitude-Behavior, Subjective Norm, and Perceived Behavioral Control, also significantly influences online learning behaviors, with an overall effect size of 0.26. All variables combined explain 10 percent of the variance in online learning behaviors.</p> Montree Sangto, Sompong Panhoon, Sureeporn Anusasananan Copyright (c) 2025 Vocational Education Central Region Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/IVECJournal/article/view/285119 Mon, 30 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0700 School Administration Factors Promotion on Teacher’ Core–Competency under The Kanchanaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/IVECJournal/article/view/284940 <p>This research has the objective To study the school administration factors of school administrators and the promotion of teachers' core competencies and the school administration factors that affect the promotion of teachers' core competencies under the Kanchaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office, Area 1. The sample selected by the multi-stage random sampling method consisted of 500 Grade 6 students from 17 schools in Rayong Province. The research tool developed by the researcher was a five-level Likert scale. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics (SPSS program) and path analysis (LISREL program). The finding indicated that factors affecting the English O-NET scores included achievement motivation, friendship conformity, attitude towards English language, social and mass media, learning attention, and parental support. The finding based on path analysis revealed that the constructed path model fitted well with the empirical data as indicated by the statistical indices (x2= 18.38, df = 7, x2/df = 2.63, p = 0.01, CFI = 1.00, GFI = 0.99, AGFI = 0.95, RMSEA = 0.05). The variables in the model could explained 42% of the variance in English O-NET scores of Grade 6 students in Rayong Province.</p> Gategaew Paenchan, Natkrita Ngammeerith, Sorrapong Charoenkittayawut Copyright (c) 2025 Vocational Education Central Region Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/IVECJournal/article/view/285058 Mon, 30 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0700
