The Comparative Analysis of legality of Euthanasia in Netherland and Thailand

Abstract

Euthanasia is the act or practice that put the person who suffers from living to death and as the human rights and medication has been progressing more and more nowadays. These two factors continuously bring the question to the term ‘Euthanasia’ on whether it should be practiced legally. There are various opinions that support the idea of legalization and of course, there are many opinions that are against it as well. This is hard to decide or say that which side is right.

          The Netherland became the first country in the world that has officially legalized Euthanasia since 2002. This has inspired other countries, Including, Thailand, to be aware of the term ‘Euthanasia ‘and the idea on whether it should be legalized. This paper is going to describe what it is and give an overview of how the law system in both countries perceive it and the comparison between both countries as it was completely opposite between Netherland and Thailand
