The target of this research was 38 eleventh grade students who studied in a regular scientific course at Phanatpittayakarn school, Phanat Nikhom Distric, Chonburi Province. The instruments of the research were 1) lesson plans using the inquiry cycle (5E) instructional model with storyline technique, 2) multiple choice analytical thinking tests, 3) multiple choice biology learning achievement tests, 4) 5-scale attitudes toward biology questionnaire, and 5) 3 multiple choice ended cycle tests. The data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation and development scores. The result of this study indicated that:<br>1. The ability in analytical thinking scores were at a high level; the development score was 60.26% after using the inquiry cycle (5E) instructional model with storyline technique.<br>2. The biology learning achievement scores were at a high level; the development score was 61.01% after using the inquiry cycle (5E) instructional model with storyline technique.<br>3. The attitudes toward biology scores were at a high level; the development score was 57.59% after using the inquiry cycle (5E) instructional model with storyline technique.</p> ER -
