Nursing Care of Diabetic Patients Who cannot Control their Blood Sugar in the Chronic Disease at Clinic Phrayuen Hospital: Comparative with Two Case Studies

Diabetes is a public health problem that threat in Thai people with a high tendency due to the lack of proper care. That is the result of the decreasing quality life and getting loss both direct and indirect cost. Objective to study the nursing care of diabetic patients who cannot control their blood sugar two comparative case studies.
The results of research showed that case 1 was diagnosed with Diabetes mellitus type 2 with DM foot with chronic kidney disease stage 3 and case 2 was diagnosed with Diabetes mellitus type 2 with Hypertension Chronic Kidney Disease stage 4. Having the same result of diagnoses: 1) hyperglycemia 2) complications 3) discomfort 4) concerned 5) risk of not receiving glycemic injections according to the treatment plan, and the different diagnosed in case 1: risk of injury due to blurred vision case 2: high blood pressure 2) Risk of tissue hypoxia due to anemia. The summarization is the case 1 has 5 diagnoses, case 2 has 8 diagnoses and caring time spending is upon the number of problem
and origin of symptom.
Used nursing process to care patients for set nursing goals, so that it possible to solve problems and achieve goals can be referred to a chronic disease clinic nurse. For care and change for a better patient's health behavior and they will have a good quality of life, slow down the deterioration of the kidneys, reduce costs and will have in line with the National Health Service system development plan.
