Model of health promotion behaviors for the elderly in Janlan Sub-district, Kuchinarai District Kalasin Province.

Abstract

     This research was action research aimed to study the health behaviors of the elderly. and a model to promote health behaviors for the elderly in Jan Lan Sub-district, Kuchinarai District Kalasin Province It is an action research with a study period from March 2022 - September 2022, totaling 7 months. Sample size were 130 elderly people, Janlan Village, Moo 7, Janlan Sub-district, Kuchinarai District Kalasin Province, Collecting data from questionnaires. Data were analysis by Content Analysis: Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation and Dependent t–test.

     The study found that Desirable health behaviors of the elderly before proceeding The overall and each side were at fair level and after the operation, it was found that the overall and each side were at a very appropriate level. And desirable health behaviors of the elderly There was a statistically significant difference between before and after operation at the .05 level (p < .05), where the mean score after operation was higher than before
