Abstract

     This study was action research with the objective of studying the situation of patients undergoing One Day Surgery (ODS) and studying the pattern of care for patients undergoing One Day Surgery (ODS). Yang Talad Hospital Kalasin Province The research period is between October - December 2023, totaling 3 months. Sample size were 224 cases of patients undergoing One Day Surgery (ODS)  who received services at Yang Talad Hospital. Kalasin Province, data collected from medical records and questionnaires, data analyzed. By content analysis (Content Analysis), frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Dependent t – test.

     The results of the study found that patients who come to receive One Day Surgery (ODS) at Yang Talad Hospital Kalasin Province includes the most colonoscopy surgeries at 94.64 percent. Comprehensive of services and preparation before surgery/procedures in patients who meet the criteria for same-day surgery. Before proceeding overall and individually is at a moderate level and after overall and individual operations at the highest level. Comprehensive of services and preparation before surgery/procedures in patients who are eligible for same-day surgery. Before and after the operation were significantly different at the .05 level, after the operation there was an average score of understanding of service provision and preparation before surgery/procedures in patients who were eligible for surgery. One day return than before the operation And the results of patient discharge home for One Day Surgery patients.PADSS Score (Post Anesthetic Discharge Scoring System) has discharged 100 percent of patients home for One Day Surgery.
