ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการหกล้มในผู้สูงอายุในเขตพื้นที่รับผิดชอบของโรงพยาบาลส่งเสริมสุขภาพตำบลบ้านนาสระ ตำบลท้ายสำเภา อำเภอพระพรหม จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช

วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัยนี้เพื่อศึกษาความชุกและปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการหกล้มในผู้สูงอายุ การสำรวจแบบภาคตัดขวางของงานวิจัยนี้ได้เก็บข้อมูลในผู้สูงอายุ 60 ปีขึ้นไปที่อาศัยอยู่ในตำบลท้ายสำเภา ตั้งแต่เดือนตุลาคม ถึง พฤศจิกายน พ.ศ. 2566 โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมทั้งหมด 145 ราย ที่ได้จากการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบง่ายและวิเคราะห์สถิติพรรณนา ไคสแควร์ และการถดถอยลอจิสติก
จากการสำรวจผู้สูงอายุในตำบลท้ายสำเภาพบความชุกของการหกล้มในช่วงเวลา 1 ปีที่ผ่านมา เท่ากับ 26.89% มีสาเหตุมาจากปัจจัยภายในที่มีนัยสำคัญ (P < 0.05) คือ ปัญหาการทรงตัวทำให้ผู้สูงอายุมีโอกาสหกล้มได้ 6.79 เท่า (Odds Ratio = 6.79; CI 95% (2.14-21.48)) นอกจากนี้พบว่าการจัดการปัจจัยภายนอกให้มีสภาพแวดล้อมในบ้านที่ปลอดภัย เช่น มีแสงสว่างชัดเจน ช่วยป้องกันการหกล้มได้อย่างมีนัยสำคัญ (P = 0.004) (Odds Ratio = 0.17; CI 95% (0.05-0.58)) และการจัดวางสิ่งของภายในบ้านให้เป็นระเบียบช่วยลดโอกาสในการหกล้มได้อย่างมีนัยสำคัญ (P = 0.003) (Odds Ratio = 0.08; CI 95% (0.01-0.43))
