Police of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and public security

Abstract

The objective of this Academic article was to police of the socialist republic of Vietnam and public security. The research found that: Public Safety Management has been gradually increased in Vietnam, especially in Hanoi; a prosperous city with overcrowded population, commercial districts and tourist spots. Hanoi Municipal Police have analyzed crime problems and take preventive actions to reinforce the crime-scene verification. So, the arrest rate for incidents are considered at high level. Hanoi Municipal Police have succeeded in safety managing for foreigners who traveling and doing businesses in the city. The achieved campaigns for crime prevention have been accomplished by giving crime knowledge and crime prevention to people. Furthermore, there are plans for annihilation and crime suppression by corporate integrating with many agencies; such as, Traffic department, Investigation department, and Crime prevention and suppression department. They work together to arrest criminals; such as, someone carrying weapon, burglary, pickpocket and etc. One method to prevent missing motorcycles in Vietnam is giving a ticket number to the owner at the parking area. The owner has to show the matched card with the number on the motorbike seat before taking it out.
