The Democratic Political Culture of the Third-Year Students in Police Administration, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University in Academic year 2018

Abstract

The purposes of the research were (1) to study the levels of the democratic political cultures and (2) to compare individual factors with the democratic political cultures of the third-year students in the Police Administration, faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University in the academic year of 2018. A quantitative research with purposive sampling was employed. Questionnaires were distributed to 92 respondents who were the third-year students in Police Administration, faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University in the academic year of 2018. Frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation (SD) and t-test were used for data analysis. 

The findings revealed as follows; 1) The level of the democratic political cultures of the third-year students in the Police Administration, faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University in the academic year of 2018 is high with the average of 3.84. 2) Those who had different sex had different involvement in the democratic political cultures at with the significance level of 0.05. 3) Those who had different hometown had different involvement in the democratic political cultures not being statistically significant at 0.05.
