The objectives of this research were 1) to compare analytical thinking in mathematics 2) to compare learning achievements in mathematics, and 3) to study the attitudes effects of mathematics instruction based on discovery approach supplemented simulations on analytical thinking and mathematics achievements of grade 3 students. The sample consisted of Prathomsuksa 3 students at Pitchayawit School, Ban Dung District, Udon Thani Province, in the first semester of the academic year 2022 by group randomization The research instruments were 1) learning management plan 2) analytical thinking test with difficulty values ranging from 0.20-0.86 and discriminating powers of 0.20-0.80 and confidence values of 0.91 3) test The measure of learning achievement with difficulty values ranging from 0.43-0.81 and the discriminant power was 0.20-0.73, and the confidence value was 0.90 and 4) the attitude towards teaching and learning in mathematics, the statistics used in the data analysis were mean, deviation, standard and t-test The results showed that 1. The post-test score of analytical thinking ability of prathomsuksa 3 students being taught by that were taught mathematics based on the concept of discovery supplemented with simulations was higher than the pre-test score at .05 level of significance. 2. The post-test score of mathematics of prathomsuksa 3 students being taught by that has been taught mathematics based on discovery concepts supplemented with simulations was higher than the pre-test score at .05 level of significance 3. Attitudes towards Mathematics of of prathomsuksa 3 students who were treated with reverse teaching and simulation. Overall, it is at a high level.
