Abstract

A study of the relationship between communication strategy of Thai Health Promotion Foundations and the motive of exercise of Gen Y in Bangkok. The purposes of this study are 1) to study the communication strategies towards exercise of Thai Health Promotion Foundations 2) to study the motive of exercise of Gen Y 3) to study the relationship between communication strategy of Thai Health Promotion Foundations and the motive of exercise of Gen Y in Bangkok. The sample were 175 who are followers of Thai Health Promotion Foundation Facebook Fan Page, aged between 24 – 42 years. The study used the questionnaire as a tool to collect data. The data analyzed by Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient. The results showed that 1) the communication strategies towards exercise of Thai Health Promotion Foundations focus on new issues management. Because of Thai Health Promotion Foundations has the nature of communication by means of supplementing information in order to create a correct understanding towards exercise. 2) Security motivation is an important factor that Gen Y do exercise because they want to stay healthy. 3) there is significant relationship between communication strategy of Thai Health Promotion Foundations and the motive of exercise of Gen Y in Bangkok at 0.01 level.
