Abstract

Helping a drug addict to really stop taking drugs, requires physical and mental therapy. and rehabilitation to be able to build a shield to prevent relapse There are two concepts for the treatment of drug addicts: treating drug addicts with judicial punishment and changing to treat drug addicts as if they were sick who needed to be healed. Both physically and mentally, and treating drug addicts as physical patients, when medical treatment is ineffective, judicial punishment is replaced when punishment is not. As a result, it has changed to treat drug addicts as patients both physically and mentally, emphasizing the importance of psychotherapy, which has become the source of the current drug addiction treatment philosophy.
