Abstract

The purposes of this study were to investigate work effectiveness among central personnel in the department of disease control and to examine the factors affecting work effectiveness among the central personnel in department of disease control.     A sample size of 352 cases, using a simple random sampling method, was selected from employees in the central department, and the instruments used were questionnaires. The quantitative data were analyzed by using the descriptive statistics of percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation and multiple linear regression at significant level of .05. The result of the study was as follow: 1) the overall effectiveness of employee performance in the central department of disease control was affected by the internal factors at a high level. Considering each aspect ordered from the highest to the lowest, work achievement, work responsibility, work description, respectfulness, and success in career path. 2) The overall opinions involved effectiveness of employee performance in the central department of disease control were at a high level. The hypothesis testing results found that internal factors affecting the effectiveness of employee performance in the central department of disease control were statistically significant at 0.05 level
