Abstract

This research aimed to 1) investigate the ethical leadership of school administrators under the Pathum Thani Secondary Education Service Area Office, and 2) explore the practical approach to the ethical leadership of school administrators under the Pathum Thani Secondary Education Service Area Office. The research sample consisted of 322 teachers under the Pathum Thani Secondary Education Service Area Office. The key informants included five school administrators. The instruments were questionnaires and interview forms. To analyze the data, the researcher conducted statistics consisting of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis for the qualitative study. The result revealed that: 1) the ethical leadership of school administrators showed high levels in an overview ( = 4.48). 2) The practical approach to the ethical leadership of school administrators appeared to have five dimensions. (1) Justice: Administrators must be reasonable and appropriate in every decision. (2) Integrity: Administrators must not cheat. Through good governance, they must be honest. (3) Credibility: Administrators must not take harmful action against their subordinates or innocent people. (4) Respect: Administrators must perform appropriately and respect others. (5) Accountability: To be visible to their subordinates, administrators must act as the best role models in all aspects.
