The Competency Development of Performance of Security Guard License in Chonburi
Abstract
This research has objectives to study the competency development of performance and performance factors of security guard license in Chonburi and to study performance factors have causal relation with the competency development of performance of security guard license in Chonburi. The samples consists of 300 security guards license in Chonburi. Research instrument for data collection is questionnaire and statistics for data analysis such as percentage, mean and standard deviation and analyze the relationship of personal characteristics by Chi-square and analyzed performance factors have causal relation with the competency development of performance of security guard license by Multi linear Regression Analysis and test statistic to detect the presence of autocorrelation as Durbin-Watson of 1.5 ≤ Durbin–Watson ≥ 2.5. The research results found that security guard license had an opinion on the competency of performance of security guard license in Chonburi at high-level overview. When consider all factors indicated that the maximum average was self-opinion; next were knowledge, skill and personality respectively. For performance factors found that security guard license had an opinion on performance factors of security guard license in Chonburi at high-level overview. When consider all factors indicated that the maximum average was supervisor's support; next were relationship with colleagues, nature of work and progress of work respectively. Hypothesis testing found that gender, age, education level, marital status, affiliated agency, working status, working period and average monthly salary affected the competency of security guard license in Chonburi was no statistically significant differences at 0.05. Performance factors such as relationship with colleagues and supervisor's support affected the competency of security guard license in Chonburi at 0.05 statistically significant level.
