Organization Management Factors Affecting the Performance Efficiency of Provincial Administration Officers in Phitsanulok Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the organization management of Provincial Administration, 2) to study the performance efficiency of officers, and 3) to suggest the guideline for increasing the performance efficiency of Provincial Administration officers in Phitsanulok Province. The questionnaire was used as a research instrument to collect data from the sample of 197 officers in Phitsanulok Province. The data were analyzed by using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis. The research findings indicated that (1) overall organization management of Provincial Administration was at a highest level included Coordinating, Directing, Budgeting, Reporting, Organizing, Staffing, Planning (2) overall performance efficiency of officers was at a high level included Costs, Quantity, Time, Quality, and (3) the guideline for increasing the performance efficiency was: Organizing should clearly define authority and responsibility, Staffing should support the working relationship of officers, define a manpower rating and appropriate performance with position, and Planning should operate according to the organization policy based on the vision and mission.
