Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study and compare the skills of school administrators in the Academic Administration Under Nongkhai Primary Educational, Service Area Office 2 classified by position, age and work experience. The sample used in this research was a group of 291 administrators and teachers under Nongkhai Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The sample size was calculated using Krejcie and Morgan’s comparison table and proportionate stratified random sampling method by school size. The tool used to collect data was a five-level rating scale questionnaire with a reliability of .88. The statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-way ANOVA and Scheffe’s paired difference test. The results of the study were as follows : 1. The levels of overall opinion on the skills of school administrators in the Academic Administration Under Nongkhai Primary Educational, Service Area Office 2 was at high level. Considering by aspect, it can chronologically arranged from the highest level as the followings: curriculum development skills, creating educational technology materials skills,measurable and transferable skills,Learning resources, library management skills,prepared learning skills,communication arts skills and research for educational quality skills. 2. The overall comparison results on the skills of school administrators in the Academic Administration Under Nongkhai Primary Educational, Service Area Office 2  were not different classified by position and work experience but different in classified by age.
