Abstract

This research the objectives were to: 1) compare the learning achievement in the knowledge of traditional dance courses dance set of Secondary 1 (Grade7) students by using a Jigsaw Technique Blended with Simpson’s Practical Skill Instructional Model. 2) compare the learning achievement in traditional dance course knowledge dance set between control group and experimental group. 3) compare the learning achievement in performing arts courses in traditional dance courses dance set of between control group and experimental group by using the Jigsaw Technique Blended with Simpson’s Practical Skill Instructional Model with the control group using the traditional method. The sample used were Secondary 1 (Grade7) students at Maptataputpanpittayakarn School academic year 2022, consisting of 2 classrooms, 40 students per class derived by cluster sampling from 6 classroom which mix ability of the students, divided one classroom as a control group and another as an experimental group. The research instruments were 1) plans for Learning Folk Dance "Fon-ngiaw" 2) pre-test and post-test 3) evaluation form about knowledge 4) the learning achievement test. Statistical analysis was Mean, Standard Deviation (SD), t-test dependent sample and t-test independent. The research findings revealed that 1) learning achievement in knowledge of traditional dancing of "Fon-ngiaw" of experimental group was higher than pre-test at the statistical significance level of .05  2) learning achievement of traditional dancing of "Fon-ngiaw" of experimental group was significantly higher than the control group who learned by traditional method at level .05 and  3) The overall learning achievement  of traditional dancing of "Fon-ngiaw" in practical skills between the experimental group who and the control group that used the traditional method at the statistical significance level of .05
