The Using of Social Media Affecting the Work Efficiency of Company Employees in the Municipal District Pathum Thani Province

Abstract

This research aimed to Compare the differences in personal characteristics that affect the work efficiency of company employees in the municipal district. Pathum Thani Province. and to compare the use of social media at work and the work efficiency of company employees in the municipal district. Pathum Thani Province. It was the quantitative research. The sample was 400 people of private company employees in Muang District, Pathum Thani Province. Tool for collected data was a set of questionnaire Statistics used in data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and statistic used for hypothesis testing were t-test, and F-test. The results found that: The most used social media by private company employees is the Line application which is online all day long. The duration of use is more than 4 hours and the level of knowledge in use is moderate. It is mostly used in meetings and the media also helps to build relationships with co-workers to a very good extent and the using of social media different personal factors and different social media use had a different performances at a statistically significant difference at the level .05
