Abstract

The objectives of this research are: to study and compare academic  leadership of school administrators in the new normal age under to the Phatthalung Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, classified by their school size, educational qualifications, working experience and academic standing, and to investigate guidelines for improvement of academic  leadership of school administrators in the new normal age under to the Phatthalung Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The data collected from the teachers under to the Phatthalung Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The size was determined by Craigie and Morgan's table. The number of 303 people was randomly drawn by the non-returnable lottery method. The tool used is questionnaire; 5 level estimation questionnaire with confidence of .975 and an open-ended interview. The data was analyzed statistically for values of average, percentage, standard deviation. The hypothesis was tested using t-test statistics, f-test and content analysis. The research findings revealed that  1. Academic  leadership of school administrators in the new normal age under to the Phatthalung Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, both overall and on individual aspects, were at the high level. 2. Comparison of the implementation of the academic  leadership of school administrators in the new normal age under to the Phatthalung Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, classified by their school size, educational qualifications, working experience and academic standing it was found that school size and working experience there were different at the statistical significance level of .05 both overall and on the indiviual aspects. The educational qualifications and academic standing of were not different both overall and on the indiviual aspects.
3. Guidelines for improving academic leadership of school administrators in the new normal age under to the Phatthalung Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 were the school administrators should involve teachers in setting academic goals and vision of school; should encourage the use of technology and should develop teachers knowledge on preparation of school based curriculum.
