Abstract

An independent study on the adaptation of instructor pilots at a private flying school during the Coronavirus disease 2019 crisis was to study the impact on instructor pilots at a private flying school during the Coronavirus disease 2019 crisis and the adaptation of instructor pilot at a private flying school during the Coronavirus disease 2019 crisis. The key informants in this study are 23 instructor pilots at a private flying school who have been employed since before the Coronavirus disease 2019 crisis. The study used the semi-structured interview method, and a content analysis was performed on the data. The research's findings showed that: 1) The most of instructor pilots had a high level of impact on the economy and livelihoods impact, a moderate of impact on social impact, and a low level of impact on an aviation skills and experience and 2) The most of instructor pilots have adapted to the economy impact by focusing on generating additional revenue and cutting back on wasteful spending. Regarding social adaption, the emphasis is on adhering to safety precautions and engaging with or communicating online channels. Focus on finding additional extracurricular activities for adaptability to the impact on livelihoods. While focusing on learning knowledge or more information, adaption to the impact of flying skills and expertise
