Factors Affecting Parents’ Decision Making on Sending Their Children to Study Early Childhood Education of General Education Private Schools, Narathiwat Province

This research aimed to 1) study the levels of the factors affecting parents’ decision making on sending their children to study early childhood education of general education private schools, Narathiwat Province; 2) study the levels of parents’ decision making on sending their children to study early childhood education of general education private schools, Narathiwat Province; and 3) study the factors affecting parents’ decision making on sending their children to study early childhood education of general education private schools, Narathiwat Province. The samples included 367 parents who sent their children to study early childhood education of general education private schools, Narathiwat Province. The instrument was a questionnaire, with the reliability of 0.992. IOC was set between 0.67 - 1.00. The statistics for data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and regression analysis. The results revealed as follows. 1) The overall level of the factors affecting parents’ decision making on sending their children to study early childhood education of general education private schools, Narathiwat Province, was high. 2) The overall level of parents’ decision making on sending their children to study early childhood education of general education private schools, Narathiwat Province, was high. And 3) The factors could significantly predict parents’ decision making (83.5%) on sending their children to study early childhood education of general education private schools, Narathiwat Province (p < .001).
