Influence of Perceived External Environments and Entrepreneur Characteristics Affecting the Competitive Advantage and the Successful Operation of Nam-Hom Coconut Farmers in Ratchaburi Province

The objectives of research were to 1) Study the level of perceived external environments, entrepreneur characteristics, competitive advantage, and successful operation of nam-hom coconut farmers in Ratchaburi province 2) Study the influence of the external environments and entrepreneur characteristics affecting the competitive advantages and successful operation of nam-hom coconut farmers in Ratchaburi province 3) study the competitive advantages lead to the successful operation of nam-hom coconut farmers in Ratchaburi province. The sample was selected based on Stratified Random Sampling. The sample was 346 of nam-hom coconut farmers in Ratchaburi province. Data were analyzed using statisticsincluding frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, T-Test, F-test, and multiple linear regression analysis. The result of research in indicated that 1) Personal factors including gender, age, education level, source of investment funds and experience in farming occupations differences affect the competitive advantages had indifferent but the average monthly differences affect
to the competitive advantages had indifferent 2) External environment factors including Social and cultural and technology differences affect to the competitive advantages had indifferent but the external environment consisted of political and economic differences affect to the competitive advantages had indifferent 3) Entrepreneur Characteristics factors including Autonomy, Innovativeness, Risk Tasking and Proactiveness differences affect to the competitive advantages had indifferent but Entrepreneur Characteristics including competitive ifferences affect to the competitive advantages had indifferent 4) Competitive advantages factors including Cost Leadership, Differentiation, Focus or NIche and Quick Response differences affect to the competitive advantages had indifferent.
