Wellness Tourism Potential in Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

Abstract

This research aims to find ways to develop and promote health tourism in the area of ​​Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province by analyzing the potential of medical tourism in the said area by using qualitative research and using in-depth interviews to collect data. The result that Hua Hin District is the oldest seaside accommodation location. And is a district that has a famous tourist attraction in Prachuap Khiri Khan province, including history, culture, ancient sites, antiques, natural attractions, sea, waterfalls, forests and tourist attractions created to support the visits of both Thai and international tourists, and interest from government agencies to arrange it as a pilot area to promote wellness tourism. Therefore, it is held to be true that Hua Hin District is ready to develop its potential to be a wellness tourism destination. The guidelines for the development and promotion of wellness tourism in the area of Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan province. It consists of 4 strategies, the strategy of creating a tourist destination images, the strategy of developing a technology, the strategy of collaboration and strategy to strong community building.
