The objectives of this research were as follows: 1) to develop a learning activity aimed at promoting geographic literacy with a focus on mastering the knowledge of North and South America for Mathayomsuksa 3 students; 2) to compare the level of geographic literacy regarding the mastery of North and South America among Mathayomsuksa 3 students; and 3) to compare the learning achievements of Mathayomsuksa 3 students in relation to mastering the knowledge of North and South America. The sample comprised 43 students from Mathayomsuksa 3, specifically from Classroom 7. The selection of participants was conducted using the random sampling technique based on the group method. The research utilized the following tools: 1) learning activities designed to promote geographic literacy, 2) a questionnaire to assess geographic literacy, and 3) a learning achievement test. The statistical methods used for data analysis included mean ( ), standard deviation (S.D.), and dependent t-test. The research findings indicated the following: 1) The learning management plan for the learning activities aimed at promoting geographic literacy on mastering the knowledge of North and South America among Mathayomsuksa 3 students demonstrated effectiveness, achieving a mean score of 86.87/86.22.; 2) The geographic literacy of Mathayomsuksa 3 students showed significant improvement after engaging in the learning activities. The mean score after learning ( =24.33, S.D.=1.33) was significantly higher than the mean score before learning ( =7.53, S.D.=17.83) with a statistical significance level of .05 and 3) The learning achievement in mastering the knowledge of North and South America among Mathayomsuksa 3 students also exhibited a significant increase after participating in the learning activities to promote geographic literacy. The mean score after learning =24.33, S.D.=1.33) was significantly higher than the mean score before learning ( ==14.45, S.D.=1.45) with a statistical significance level of .05
