Development of Reading Comprehension Skills by Organizing the 5 STEPs Learning Process Together with the 5W1H Technique of Grade 2 Students

The objectives of this research were 1) to develop a 5 STEPs learning process management in conjunction with the 5W1H technique. 2) to compare reading comprehension skills before and after learning activities. 3) to study the satisfaction of grade 2 students at Wat Kooyang School. to the activities of learning By organizing the 5 STEPs learning process together with the 5W1H technique. The population was Prathom Suksa 2 students, the second semester of the 2022 academic year at Wat Koo Yang School, 6 classrooms, with a total of 229 people. The sample group was Prathom Suksa 2/2 students, semester 2. Academic year 2022, Wat Koo Yang School, 1 classroom, 39 students by group random sampling method. The tools used in the research were: 1) a learning management plan by organizing a learning process of 5 STEPs together with the 5W1H technique of Prathom Suksa 2 students; 2) a reading comprehension test; for grade 2 and 3) a questionnaire on student satisfaction with learning activities organized by 5 STEPs learning process combined with the 5W1H technique of grade 2 students. Data analysis were mean, percentage, standard deviation, dependent t-test. The findings revealed that 1) the development of a learning management plan By organizing the 5 STEPs learning process together with the 5W1H technique, it was found that the most appropriate level was found (mean = 4.60, standard deviation = 0.46). of students after learning management By organizing a learning process of 5 STEPs together with the 5W1H technique higher than before the learning management. 3) The students' satisfaction towards the 5 STEPs learning process management with the 5W1H technique was at the highest level (mean = 4.52, standard deviation = 0.47).
