The Development of Reading Comprehension Abilities for Prathomsuksa 3 Students by Cooperative Learning with STAD Techniques Combined with Skill Exercises

The objectives of this research were 1) to create and determine the efficiency of cooperative learning activities using STAD techniques combined with skill exercises. To develop reading comprehension abilities for Prathomsuksa 3 students to be effective according to the criterion of 75/75. 2) To compare reading comprehension ability. 3) to study the satisfaction of grade 3 students towards the cooperative learning activities by STAD technique for grade 3 students. STAD combined with skill exercises The samples used in the research were: Grade 3 students in the second semester of the academic year 2022 at Wat Mongkolsathit School. Bang Ta Ngai Subdistrict Banphot Phisai District Nakhon Sawan Province, 1 room, 27 people, by specific random sampling method. The research tools were: 1) 6 plans for cooperative learning activities using STAD techniques, 2 hours each, totaling 12 hours; 3) a pre- and post-learning reading comprehension test on the subject of reading comprehension, 30 items, 4) a satisfaction questionnaire of primary school students. 3rd towards learning Collaborate with STAD techniques combined with skill exercises. The statistics used for data analysis were mean, standard deviation, dependent t-test. The results showed that 1) the efficiency of the cooperative learning activities using STAD techniques combined with skill exercises. To develop reading comprehension abilities For grade 3 students, the efficiency (E1/E2) was 86.85/80.37, which was higher than the specified criterion. For Prathomsuksa 3 students, after cooperative learning with STAD techniques combined with higher skill exercises before school. 3) The satisfaction of Prathom Suksa 3 students towards the cooperative learning activities using STAD techniques and skill exercises at the .05 level of significance. Overall, satisfaction was at the highest level.
