Abstract

Factors influencing the decision to vote in the election of members of the House of Representatives in the 2023 general election in the case study of Mueang Phrae District, there are 6 important factors, namely, public participation factors; Electoral factors Decision-making factors factors related to political parties Factors related to election campaigns and factors in political communication The work of each factor is 1) the public participation factor. If people do not participate in the election because they may think that it is not necessary for themselves, then they are not interested in participating in the election and do not cooperate in participating in the election. 2) Election-related factors It is an important factor in the process of participating in the exercise of people's power towards democracy. in which the people own the power to rule It is the vote of the people to reflect the needs of the people. 3) Factors related to decision making. It is a rational consideration decision. with factors or elements that existed at that time in order to decide on one option out of many options in order to meet the needs of the selectors as much as possible 4) factors related to political parties It is a political factor that is important to government in a democracy. It is a group of people with consistent political ideologies or concepts in a particular subject, such as economy, society, education or the environment. and jointly carry out political activities The main goal is to recruit and select candidates for election as people's representatives. Participate in the exercise of executive and legislative powers. 5) Factors relating to election campaigns Because election campaigns are inextricably linked with the electoral process. They are all part of the electoral system. which can be regarded as an issue at the heart of political communication. 6) Factors in Political Communication It is political communication that begins with political organizations, such as political parties, politicians, interest groups, etc., sending messages to various media such as television, radio, newspapers, etc., in order for those media to transmit information to the people.
