Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study the level of transformational leadership of school administrators 2) to study the school administrators' effectiveness in school administration and 3) to study the relationship between transformational leadership and effectiveness in the administration of educational institutes of educational institute administrators Under the Office of Sukhothai Secondary Education Service Area. The sample group used in this research was 596 school administrators and teachers under the Sukhothai Secondary Educational Service Area Office. The research tool was 5 rating scale questionnaire. The statistics used were mean, standard deviation and Pearson's correlation coefficient. The results of the research found as follow : 1) The level of transformational leadership of school administrators found that the overall level was at the highest level. When considering each side, it was found that Taking into account the individual has the mean (x ̅ = 4.68) has the highest mean. And inspiration has an average (x ̅ = 4.64) with the lowest average. 2) The level of effectiveness of educational institutions found that the overall level was at the highest level. When considering each side, it was found that Educational institutions have a good environment and context with the mean (x ̅ = 4.67) having the highest mean and the administrators having leadership having the mean (x ̅ = 4.57) having the lowest mean. 3) Transformational Leadership and School Administrator Effectiveness of School Administrators There was a high positive correlation (r=0.796) with statistical significance at the 0.01 level.
