A Study of tradition of North-Eastern Saraphan recitation: A Case of Phu Thai Ethnic People, Pla Lo Village, Tambon Pla Lo, Amphoe Waraitchaphum, Sakhon Nakhon Province

Abstract

A study cultural of E-san soraphan prayer : a case study Phuthai ethnics group in Bann Plalo, Tambol Plalo, Warichaphum Districs, Sakon Nakhon province. The findings of this research were as follows: Cultural of E-san soraphan prayer of Phuthai Ethnics has a form of prayer 2 groups. Is a single prayer and groups prayer. In addition found that : have a Pali prayer that is a regular chanting to it is a melody in  E-san soraphan. From analysis to see that configuration of E-san soraphan prayer. A contain 1) The prayer 2) flower set and 3) E-san soraphan prayer. Iincidentally melody of E-san soraphan pryer have a 2 feature is melody regulate psalms and free melody. Traditions of E-san soraphan pryer have 3 term is the hymns in religious ceremony tradition, hymns in Buddhism day and hymns in tournament.
