Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to develop a SQ4R learning management plan combined with reading aloud skills practice. to develop Thai reading aloud skills for students Grade 4 2) To compare the proficiency in reading Thai aloud before and after learning of Mathayomsuksa 4 students by using SQ4R learning activities together with reading skills exercises. 3) to study the satisfaction of Mathayomsuksa 4 students towards the use of reading aloud skills exercise by SQ4R learning activities. The population used in this research were Mathayomsuksa 4 students in the second semester of the academic year 2022 at Ban Mae Usu Witthaya School. Tha Song Yang District, Tak Province, under the Tak Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, 3 classrooms with a total of 74 students. The sample group used in this research is a student in grade 4/1, semester 2, academic year 2022, Ban Mae Usu Wittaya School Tha Song Yang District, Tak Province, under the Tak Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, 1 classroom, total 28 students Obtained by simple random sampling method by lottery method The classroom was used as a unit of sampling. Tools used in the research 1) Learning management plan using the SQ4R learning management method combined with Thai reading aloud skills exercises 2) Pre-learning test 3) a questionnaire for assessing students' satisfaction with learning management using the SQ4R learning management method combined with a Thai reading aloud skill practice. The results showed that 1) The results of determining the suitability of the elements of the SQ4R learning management plan together with the use of the reading aloud skill exercise. to develop Thai reading aloud skills For Mathayomsuksa 4 students, let experts review the consistency. After the researcher has completed the learning management plan, the learning management plan has been brought to the experts for consideration. Modify to be more appropriate. Consistency of the tool (IOC) with the consistency index of the opinion questionnaire equal to 0.80 and the level of suitability in the components of the learning plan at the highest level ( = 4.69, S.D. = 0.26). 2) The comparative results of reading aloud Thai language ability before and after school of Mathayomsuksa 4 students by using SQ4R learning activities combined with Thai reading aloud skills practice. Before learning, the mean score was 7.68 points and the standard deviation (S.D.) was 4.25. and the post-learning scores had an average score of 12.07 points and a standard deviation (S.D.) of 5.50, respectively. Statistically significant at the .05 level. 3) The results of satisfaction of Mathayomsuksa 4 students towards the use of reading aloud skills practice by organizing SQ4R learning activities were overall satisfaction at the highest level ( = 4.26, S.D. = 0.52)
