The Development of Reading Comprehension Skills by Sq6r Technique with Skill Practice for Primary 6 Students

The objectives of this research were to 1) create and seek efficiency of the skill practice, the development of reading comprehension skills by SQ6R technique with skill practice for primary 6 students based on 80/80 2)compare the ability of the comprehension reading between pretest scores and post test scores through learning skills by SQ6R technique with skill practice for primary 6 students 3) study the student's satisfaction on learning by reading SQ6R technique with skill practice for primary 6 students. The research samples were 20 Primary 6 students of class 6/1 who were studying 2nd semester academy year 2023 at Watjantawanook school, Muang ,Phitsanulok. Selected by simple random sampling using class as selecting factor.
The research tools were Skill practice, learning management, reading comprehension skills test, Questionnaire on the satisfaction of student. Statistics for analyzing data include: percentage, mean, standard deviation and T-test Dependent.
The results of the study revealed that
1)The practice of reading comprehension skills for primary 6 students had the efficiency scores at 98.23/83 percent which were higher than the standard set 80/80 . The practice of reading comprehension skills for primary 6 students, which show that all tests are effective.
2) Ability reading conprehention skill for primary 6 students after learning management of reading comprehension skills with skill practice by SQ6R reading technique had an average of 16.60 percent, standard deviation (S.D.) is 2.28 which were higher than pre test score at 10.25,standard deviation (S.D.) is 2.31 with a statistical significance of .05
3)The student's satisfaction on learning with skill practic by SQ6R reading technique for primary 6 students,in overall, was rated at the highest level ( =4.82,S.D.=0.12) When considering all aspects, it was found that the students' satisfaction was in the highest standard.
