The Need for Self-Development of Personnel in Samut Sakhon Municipality

Abstract

The objectives of the research were (1) to study the needs of self-development of personnel in Samut Sakhon Municipality. Samut Sakhon Province, (2) to compare the opinions on the need for self-development of personnel in Samut Sakhon Municipality. Samut Sakhon province by personal factors, and (3) to study the relationship between the factor of job satisfaction and the level of self-development needs of personnel in Samut Sakhon Municipality. Samut Sakhon Province. The sample was 230 employees of the Metropolitan Municipality in Samut Sakhon, Samut Sakhon Province. Data were collected by questionnaires and analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-Way ANOVA, and Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient. The level of significance was set at .05. The finding shown that the personnel of Samut Sakhon Municipality Samut Sakhon Province have a need for self-development was high. The hypothesis testing reviewed that the difference in positional status and agencies under had difference in the opinions towards need for self-development but personal factors on gender, age, educational level and working hours were not different affects the need for personal development. job satisfaction was related to the needs for self-development among personnel working for Samut Sakhon city municipality.
