The purposes of this independent study were twofold: 1) to construct and assess the efficiency of a learning activity by using task-based learning combined with nano learning to enhance speaking ability for Prathomsuksa 3 students, using a criterion of 80/80, and 2) to implement and study the outcomes of this learning activity by comparing the speaking ability of students before and after the activity, and examining the results of the activity itself. The study followed a research and development process in two steps. The sample group was 20 students of Prathomsuksa 3 at Banpangkanoon School under the Primary Educational Service Area Office Kamphaengphet 1 in the first semester of academic year 2023. The research tools included the learning activity, lesson plan, and a speaking ability test. The data were analyzed using mean scores (x ̅), standard deviation (S.D.), Pearson Correlation, index of item-objective congruence and effectiveness equal (E1/E2). The results of the study revealed that: 1. The learning activity by using task-based learning combined with nano learning to enhance speaking ability for Prathomsuksa 3 students involved three steps. The activity was of appropriate quality with the highest level of effectiveness at 82.26/80.56. 2. The implementation and study of the outcomes of the learning activity by using task-based learning combined with nano learning to enhance speaking ability for Prathomsuksa 3 students showed that: speaking ability in the posttest was higher than in the pretest with a statistical level of .05. 3 Students gained proficiency in speaking ability during the learning activity by using task-based learning combined with nano learning to enhance speaking ability for Prathomsuksa 3 students. They were able to improve their speaking ability in every element of this learning activity, and students can concrete the knowledge from the third steps of the learning activity onwards.
