Quality of Work Life of Personnel in Department of Energy Business

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to (1) study the level of quality of work life of personnel in department of energy business (2) to compare the quality of work life of personnel in department of energy business classify according to personal factors and (3) to study relationship between work environment and quality of work life of personnel in department of energy business. The 177 personnel of Department of Energy Business were the sample of the study. The questionnaire was the instrument of data collecting. The percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one way ANOVA, LSD, and Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient were used as the statistical analysis. The result of the study found that the personnel in department of energy business has high level of quality of work life. The hypothesis testing found that the difference in sex, age, educational level, personnel type, duration of work and salary in department of energy business caused no difference in quality of work life. In addition, work environment has relations in the same direction with quality of work life in department of energy business at .05 level of statistical significance which was accepted the hypothesis.
