The abundance of action verbs and the prominent issue of errors associated with them present significant challenges. Furthermore, several existing Chinese learning dictionaries face limitations, such as inaccurate selection of discriminatory word pairs and complex interpretations. Consequently, this paper aims to examine five commonly used Chinese learning dictionaries, focusing on the inclusion of easily confused action verbs and analyzing their lexical discrimination. Through this investigation, we hope to provide targeted suggestions for improving the compilation of Chinese learning dictionaries.
Liu Shutong, Xiao Yu Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of Modern Learning Development https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jomld/article/view/278362 Sat, 30 Nov 2024 00:00:00 +0700 Technology factors influence the performance management of logistics service providers in South East Asia https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jomld/article/view/273682
“Global logistics business” has increasingly played an important role in conducting business especially in the era of the epidemic (COVID-19) where it is impossible to predict what the future situation will be and consumer behavior has changed because everyone cannot go out according to government policy and from a variety of factors everything will be ordered by the system or applications, causing logistics to play a very important role in responding to customer needs appropriately with the current situation. It can be seen that the factors “Digital technology” will play a greater role. This academic article aims to present the use of technology to increase operational efficiency in the logistics industry. As a result, many innovations were developed. To respond to the needs of service users for example, delivery of goods is simple and fast including efficient product storage therefore causing cost reduction and create competitive stability in the global logistics market. Including in an era where people pay more attention to the environment. Therefore, logistics itself needs to adapt in line with this mega trend of sustainability. At the same time, it is imperative to maintain the company's profitability. The logistics business has been amidst the upheaval caused by digital transformation and changing consumer behavior therefore, businesses that will be successful need to seriously adapt and create more new technology trends.
Thanatkit Prasertsakulchai, Piyachat Jarutirasarn , Surasidh Boonchunone Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of Modern Learning Development https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jomld/article/view/273682 Sat, 30 Nov 2024 00:00:00 +0700 Travel Anxiety and Travel Intentions of Domestic Tourist in Thailand in Next Normal after the New Pandemic https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jomld/article/view/274454
The purposes of this research are as follows: 1) to compare the personal characteristics related to chronic disease status with travel anxiety and travel intentions of domestic tourists in Thailand in next normal after the new pandemic, 2) to investigate the relationship between travel anxiety and travel intention of domestic tourists in Thailand in next normal after the new pandemic using quantitative research methods. A questionnaire was used to collect the data from a sample of 421 Thai individuals through convenient sampling. Statistical analysis methods employed include frequency, mean, percentage, standard deviation, t-test, and One-way ANOVA.
The research findings revealed that different personal characteristics related to chronic disease status yield different levels of travel anxiety. The correlational analysis revealed that travel anxiety is correlated with travel intention among domestic tourists (r = .112, p < .05). Research suggests that government or private sector agencies involved must strictly implement health and safety measures, especially in densely populated tourist destinations, to build confidence in traveling. No matter what era, women are often taught and trained to be good women according to the ideals of a patriarchal society. In the family context, myths of women show three female statuses, a mother; a wife; and a daughter or a grand-daughter, which all are responsible for taking care of every family member. Junior females are taught to be grateful to the senior. In the society, women are molded to be a beauty, trained to prefer multiple skills in order to raise their abilities in homework, study and work. Also, women are expected to be kind; brave; polite and self-reliant. The found myths of women reflect Thai social values relating to women that have deeply implanted among Thai people and restricted Thai women in the past to the present. All myths about women encourage men and society to live happily. The myths also seem strongly associating with Thai social values; economy; politic; and social system.
Yang Chan , Jansuda Chaiprasert Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of Modern Learning Development https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jomld/article/view/273340 Sat, 30 Nov 2024 00:00:00 +0700 The Liability from Using Discretion in Issuing Disciplinary Orders Officials Illegally: A Case Study of University Pibulsongkram Rajabhat https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jomld/article/view/274099
This thesis examines the legal liability of law enforcers within the context of the organization at Pibulsongkram Rajabhat University, focusing on unilateral intent to establish legal relationships and duties. It emphasizes the importance of discretionary power because internal laws cannot cover every situation. Granting discretion to state officials is necessary to apply the law flexibly and in line with specific facts. This allows state officials to exercise power without interference to achieve the law’s objectives and ensure case-specific justice. Misuse of discretion differs from general improper use of discretion in that it involves administrative acts that do not align with the law's intent, aiming for personal gain or public benefit not stipulated by the law. If done with corrupt or malicious intent, such misuse is severe and can lead to criminal liability, according to principles from England and France.

However, establishing criminal liability for misuse of discretion is complex. It requires determining the true intent and motivation of the actor, which are internal elements of criminal offenses, necessitating substantial evidence. Additionally, factors in substantive and procedural criminal law, and court interpretations, significantly impact prosecuting state officials who misuse their discretionary power.
Phithan Saengsuriya Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of Modern Learning Development https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jomld/article/view/274099 Sat, 30 Nov 2024 00:00:00 +0700 A Study of Guitar Course Teaching at School of International Art in Chengdu of China https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jomld/article/view/274829
The increasing interest in guitar education underscores the desire among students to pursue higher-level studies. This research article thus aims to: 1) study the application of Time-Driven Activity-Based Costing (TDABC) in restaurants and classify menu items based on the Menu Engineering concept, and 2) study the level of knowledge and understanding of entrepreneurs in applying the TDABC system and sustainable business practices. This research is a qualitative study using a case study of a restaurant business in Siracha District, Chonburi Province. The researcher employed documentary analysis, Time-Driven Activity-Based Costing analysis, and in-depth interviews as tools for conducting this study. The research findings reveal that applying TDABC improves the accuracy of product cost analysis and assists in classifying menu items according to the Menu Engineering concept, which entrepreneurs can utilise for strategic business planning. However, TDABC may not be suitable for certain activities, such as depreciation and rent, as these activities may not be directly related to time. This research also found that although entrepreneurs are ready to implement TDABC, they lack sufficient understanding, which may lead to errors in product cost determination. Additionally, the business possesses the knowledge, understanding and readiness to implement sustainable practices, contributing to long-term value creation for the company, society, and the environment.
Nuthawut Sabsombat, Yananthorn Intakaew, Passanan Chinaamornrat, Metawadee Chaisongkram, Sajittra Malasri , Suphaphon Chuaichat Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of Modern Learning Development https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jomld/article/view/278466 Sat, 30 Nov 2024 00:00:00 +0700 The Influence of Social Responsibility of Internet Celebrities on Brand Loyalty of Chinese Consumers in Jiangsu Province: A Case Study of Down Jacket Brand in Jiangsu Province https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jomld/article/view/273264
With the popularity of social media, Internet celebrities have become an indispensable force in brand marketing.
