Guidelines for The Development of Nissayasampano Characteristics of Wiset Chai Chan District School Administrators, Ang Thong Primary Educational Service Area Office

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: 1) to study characteristics of school administrators in Wiset Chai Chan district under the Office of Ang Thong Primary Educational Service Area, 2) to study Nissayasampanno characteristics of school administrators in Wiset Chai Chan district under the Office of Ang Thong Primary Educational Service Area, and 3) to propose guidelines for development of Nissayasampanno characteristics of school administrators in Wiset Chai Chan district under the Office of Ang Thong Primary Educational Service Area. The mixed research methodology was used in the study. The qualitative data were collected from documents and interviews with 5 school administrators and then analyzed by content analysis. The quantitative data were collected by questionnaires from 190 samples under the Office of Ang Thong Primary Educational Service Area and analyzed by percentage, frequency, mean and standard deviation.

The research results were found that:

The state of characteristics of school administrators in Wiset Chai Chan district under the Office of Ang Thong Primary Educational Service Area was at a high level overall. In each aspect by descending order, leadership in teamwork was the first, followed by human relations in building good relationship in the organization, and administrative competency in scoping work and assigning work respectively.

The Nissayasampanno characteristics of school administrators in Wiset Chai Chan district under the Office of Ang Thong Primary Educational Service Area consist of 3 components; 1) Self-awareness consisting of 24 characteristics, 2) Understanding the others consisting of 14 characteristics, and 3) Building good environment consisting of 11 characteristics.

The guidelines for development of Nissayasampanno characteristics of school administrators in Wiset Chai Chan district under the Office of Ang Thong Primary Educational Service Area have 3 aspects; 1) Self-analysis, 2) Self-improvement, and 3) Self-happiness. The understanding of others consists of 6 aspects; 1) Identity analysis of others, 2) Accepting the differences, 3) self-development and adjustment to others and environment, 4) Having human relations, 5) Creating happiness to others, and 6) Efficient and peaceful society. Building good environment has 3 aspects; 1) Study and analysis of environments, 2) Environmental improvement, and 3) Good environment.
