THE ACADEMIC LEADERSHIP OF ADMINISTRATORS AFFECTING MANAGEMENT EFFICIENCY OF CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER UNDER THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATION, SRI RACHA DISTRICT, CHONBURI PROVINCE

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study: 1) the level of the academic leadership of child development center administrators. 2) the level of the management efficiency of child development centers. 3) the relation between the academic leadership of administrators with management efficiency of child development centers. 4) The academic leadership of administrators affecting management efficiency of child development center under the Local Government Organization, Sri Racha District, Chonburi Province. The samples were 148 teachers assistant teachers care and child care, obtained by using Krejcie and Morgan Table and using a simple random sampling. The tool used to collect information was an Opinion questionnaire with a 5-level estimation scale. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression analysis.

The results of the study were as follows:

1. The academic leadership of child development center administrators according to the opinion of teachers assistant teachers care and child care, the overall picture is at a high level.
2. The management efficiency of child development centers according to the opinion of teachers assistant teachers care and child cares, the overall picture is at a high level.
3. The relation between the academic leadership of administrators with management efficiency of child development centers, at the .01 level of statistical significance.
4. The academic leadership of administrators, teaching supervision and Evaluation, organizing personnel development activities, organization of curriculum that develops knowledge and student activities, delivery of teamwork, development of the atmosphere in school, building relationship between school and community affecting management efficiency of child development center under the Local Government Organization, Sri Racha District, Chonburi Province at the .01 level of statistical significance.
