Empowerment with Community Democracy of Local Administrative Organization

Abstract

This academic article aims to promote the empowerment with community democracy is the process of creating democracy by applying the role of community democracy to increase potential of work of the local government organization. Community democracy is the self-management of the people. This form of democracy played an important role in strengthening the economy, governance and is a space for learning to build citizens for democracy. Bringing community democracy to enhance the capacity of local government organizations, is relying on the mechanism of the community organization council in accordance with the democratic concept of consultation. This form of democracy is like a public forum. And it is a tool for empowerment of public service management. As well as it is the creating a network of partners between leaders in the district. For the mechanism of bringing community democracy to enhance the capacity of local government organizations in this context, in short, creating partners in managing public services.
