The role of administrative law is of paramount importance in controlling the exercise of power by the administrative branch, protecting the rights and freedoms of the people, and promoting efficient and transparent public administration. Furthermore, it plays a crucial role in safeguarding public property and national interests with stability.
2025-06-30T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Mahamakut Buddhist Universityhttps://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jsrc/article/view/286426Motivational factors for modern crimes2025-07-14T12:38:42+07:00Mali Thipprajongthipprajongmali@gmail.com
Motivational factors that influence crimes in the present era are increasingly complex due to economic, social, psychological, and technological factors, especially in the context of Thailand where patronage structures, patriarchal culture, and economic inequality are important factors. This research presents a conceptual framework in terms of both the theory of crime economics, stress theory, and social learning to analyze the deep causes of modern criminal behavior. The results of the analysis indicate that crime prevention requires an integrated approach in terms of both structure and psychology, and must emphasize raising the level of education and understanding of rights and laws for the general public.
2025-06-30T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Mahamakut Buddhist Universityhttps://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jsrc/article/view/285800Buddhist Integration to Solve Corruption Problems2025-08-05T14:06:36+07:00Manop Nakkanrianmnakkarreiyn@gmail.comPhramahaweerachat Pothamnakkarreiyn@gmail.comBanchuen Nakkanrianmnakkarreiyn@gmail.com
Corruption is a misconduct that covers the body, speech and mind, especially the mind, which is the most important because it is the origin of the intention that leads to corruption. Corruption or embezzlement is a form of crime, which often occurs from the collusion of two parties to seek benefits from a third party.

The root cause of corruption lies in internal factors, namely the three roots of evil: greed (desire), anger (anger) and delusion (delusion). In particular, greed drives people to seek what they want through improper means when they cannot obtain it honestly. It also occurs from not choosing to associate with good people, those who have virtue, who can show them the disadvantages of corruption and the virtues of honesty.

The approach to solving and preventing corruption is to instill honesty in the heart as a foundation, using the following Buddhist principles: the 2 Right Views (right view of cause and effect), the 2 Most Beneficial Principles (remembering and clear knowledge), the 2 Lokapāla Dhammas (shame and fear of sin), the 3 Honest Principles (bodily honesty, verbal honesty, mental honesty), the 3 Contentment Principles (being satisfied with what one has), the 4 Foundations (being diligent, avoiding evil, doing good, and maintaining goodness), the 4 Lay Dhammas (principles of conduct for householders), the 7 Aparihaniya Dhammas (principles of non-deterioration) and the Ratchawasadi Dhamma, which are principles concerning self-control for civil servants, in order to avoid misconduct, especially corruption, and to advise them to abstain from all vices.
2025-08-06T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Mahamakut Buddhist Universityhttps://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jsrc/article/view/286905Factors Affecting Decision to Study for Master's Degree at College of Social Communication Innovation, Srinakharinwirot University2025-07-17T14:39:23+07:00Yolawee Chatsiriwechyolawee@g.swu.ac.th
The objective of this study was to examine 1) the factors influencing the decision to pursue a master’s degree at the College of Social Communication Innovation, Srinakharinwirot University, and 2) how the findings could be applied to formulate strategies for public relations, curriculum development, and enhancing the college’s image. This quantitative research employed a sample group consisting of 220 individuals, including undergraduate and graduate students, as well as prospective applicants. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed through both descriptive and inferential statistics, including mean, standard deviation, Independent t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson’s Correlation. The reliability coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.94. The findings revealed that, overall, the factors influencing the decision to pursue graduate studies were rated at a high level. The most influential factors were the image of the faculty and university, the quality of instructors, and the physical learning environment. Comparative analysis showed that certain demographic variables—such as age, occupation, income, and field of interest—had statistically significant differences in relation to the decision-making process. Furthermore, a statistically significant positive correlation was found between all eight factors examined and the decision to pursue graduate studies. This reflects a strong alignment between the program’s characteristics and the expectations of the target group. Recommendations from the study include enhancing the faculty’s public image through showcasing the achievements of alumni and faculty members, diversifying and modernizing communication channels—particularly via social media—and updating the curriculum to ensure relevance to labor market demands and contemporary trends in the communication and media industry.
2025-06-30T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Mahamakut Buddhist University
