A Need Assessment of Mentor about The Field Teaching Experience Student’s Desirable Attribute of Music Education Department, Faculty of Education, Sisaket Rajabhat University

Abstract

This needs assessment research of mentor teacher about the field teaching experience student’s desirable attribute of Music Education Faculty of Education Sisaket Rajabhat University. Instrument used in this research is questionnaire to survey the information for needs assessment. The questions are in Dual-Response Format for the state that it should be and the actual state about the field teaching experience student’s desirable attribute divided into 7 aspects, a total of 30 questions. The content validity was checked by 5 experts, get an IOC is 0.92 and check the reliability by Alpha’s Coefficient method is 0.90, Then data were collected from sample groups, namely 50 mentors of the field teaching experience of music education student. The result show that mentors need about teaching skill at the highest (0.12), followed by teacher’s responsibility (0.11), academic knowledge (0.04), music skill (0.00), morality and behavior (0.00), personality (-0.01) and public mind (-0.03).
