Enhancing the Quality of Education with PLC Process : A Case Study of Faculty of Education, Suratthani Rajabhat University

Abstract
The purpose of this article was to study the enhancement of quality in education with the PLC process of the Faculty of Education, Suratthani Rajabhat University which is an institution for production and teachers development in collaboration with the Teachers’ Council of Thailand under the professional development activities like a professional learning community in a network school that has subsidized the organization of professional development activities in the form of professional learning in the academic year of 2562 B.E. The target groups were 92 people from 12 network schools in 3 provinces which are Suratthani Province, Chumphon Province and Trang Province. In carrying out the activities by using the PLC process to develop learners, each network school has completed the activities of 5 components and completed 3 cycles in accordance with the action plan. The Lectures from the Faculty of Education were in charge of coaching and closely monitoring. The results or findings from the implementation of the activities found that 1) the changes that occurred to students, students have better behavior changes such as discipline. In addition, students have better learning outcomes in various subjects 2) changes that occurred to teachers, teachers are able to open their minds to exchange knowledge together to develop learners. And teachers have a variety of teaching techniques and methods and able to develop learners through modern teaching media innovation and use it together 3) changes that have occurred to administrators, school administrators had higher academic leadership including the ability to develop teachers in the school to lead academic leadership and to develop the supervision system within the school to be more effective 4) changes of learning culture in schools, teachers or members of each team learn more about the culture of teamwork. When seeing the achievements of other members, they are inspired to work together to help develop teaching and learning more efficiently, and 5) the innovation that is generated from the PLC process and the extension consisting of 1) teaching plans that can be used together and can be used to actually develop learners and 2) innovative teaching media that is the Best Practice.
