An Administration according to Standard Operations of the Child Development Center under the Sub-district Administration Organization, Prang Ku, Sisaket Province

Abstract

                      The purposes of this study were; 1) to study the conditions of the administration according to standard operations of the child development center under the sub-district administration organization in Prang Ku, Sisaket 2) to compare the opinions about the administration according to standard operations of the child development center under the sub-district administration organization in Prang Ku, Sisaket classified by position, education background and working experience and 3) to study the problems and development approaches of the administration according to standard operations of the child development center under the sub-district administration organization in Prang Ku, Sisaket. The research instruments were 3 kinds of questionnaire; check list, rating scale and open form. The statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The statistical analysis were t-test and F-test, and paired different test by using Scheffe’s method.The sampling groups in this study were in the sub-district administration organization in Prang Ku, Sisaket, which consisted of 1) administrators of the local administrative organization 2) directors of the division of education, religion and culture 3) heads of child development centers and 4) child-cared teachers that gathered into 120 people defining the population by using purposive sampling method.

          The results of the study found that;

1. The conditions of administration according to standard operations of the child development centers under the sub-district administration organization in Prang Ku, Sisaket, was found that the overall, it was at a high level.


2. The results of the opinions’ comparisons about the administration according to standard operations of the child development centers under the sub-district administration organization in Prang Ku, Sisaket which classified by the positions, the overall was found that significantly different at the statistical level of .01, classified by working experience the overall was found that significantly different at the statistical level of .05 and classified by the educational background the overall was not different.  


3. The study of the problems and development approaches of the administration according to standard operations of the child development centers under the sub-district administration organization in Prang Ku, Sisaket. In the problems were found that; in the opinions of child-cared teachers, there was not enough research to support for solving the problems, the sub-district staff  have not joined in the competency development. In each center, there was  not be fenced properly around the child development center. In term of the educational support, it was not enough in emotional development. It was not clear in the home-visit activity and in the operation of the child development center network, there was uncertain in the cooperation. For the development approaches were found that; the local administrative organization should support the certain budget plan and support the staff to be trained in the competency development. In terms of outdoor activities, they should provide the areas and the safe amusement equipment. In the learning activities, teachers should create the activities for students’ interaction and develop the various learning resources. In addition, teachers should build up the regular home-visit schedules and give the information about the child development centers activities to other  people systematically and it should be arranged and supported to exchange the opinions about early childhood development.
