งานศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่ออธิบายผู้ที่ประกอบอาชีพต่าง ๆ ที่ใช้ความสวยงามของรูปร่างหน้าตาและอาชีพที่ไม่จำเป็นต้องใช้รูปร่างหน้าตา ทั้งสองกลุ่มนี้ที่เข้าทำศัลยกรรมเสริมความงามจะส่งผลให้มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างไร พบว่า แต่ละอาชีพที่ทำศัลยกรรมมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงรายได้ที่แตกต่างกัน สามารถเรียงการเปลี่ยนแปลงรายได้จากมากไปน้อยได้ดังต่อไปนี้ ผู้ประกอบอาชีพพนักงานขายที่มีการทำศัลยกรรมเสริมจมูก ผู้ประกอบอาชีพที่ต้องใช้ความงามที่มีการทำศัลยกรรมเสริมหน้าอก ผู้ประกอบอาชีพขายสินค้าออนไลน์ที่มีการทำศัลยกรรมเสริมหน้าอก ผู้ประกอบอาชีพในกลุ่มเอนเตอร์เทนที่มีการทำศัลยกรรมเสริมหน้าอก ผู้ประกอบอาชีพพนักงานขายที่มีการทำศัลยกรรมเสริมหน้าอก นักเรียนหรือนักศึกษาที่มีการทำศัลยกรรมเสริมหน้าอก อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ
