Activities Management in Accordance with Buddhist Doctrines for Behaved Socialization of KhonKaen Polytechnic College Students, KhonKaen Province

Abstract

The main purposes of this research were to study and compare ethical behaviour before and after the activities management in accordance with Buddhist doctrines to socialize the students’ behaviour in KhonKaen Polytechnic College, KhonKaen province and to represent a way of promoting the students’ ethical behaviour in KhonKaen  The main purposes of this research were to study and compare ethical behaviour before and after the activities management in accordance with Buddhist doctrines to socialize the students’ behaviour in KhonKaen Polytechnic College, KhonKaen province and to represent a way of promoting the students’ ethical behaviour in KhonKaen polytechnic college, KhonKaen province. This was a quantitative research with the pre-experimental research and one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample for the experimental study was 322 students in KhonKaen polytechnic college and the sample for assessing the students’ ethical behaviour were 303 informants: administrators, teachers and guardians. The research tool for the experiment was five activities in accordance with Buddhist doctrine and the assessment form of the ethical behaviour. The statistics for the qualitative data analysis was frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test (independent sample), and the qualitative data analysis was the content analysis. A result of this study was found in the following aspects:  1. Ethical behaviour before and after the activities management in accordance with Buddhist doctrines to socialize the students’ behaviour in KhonKaen Polytechnic College, KhonKaen province was found that ethical behaviour before the activity management in accordance with Buddhist doctrines to socialize the students’ behaviour in KhonKaen polytechnic college, KhonKaen province as a whole and each aspect was in the medium level. However, after organizing those activities, it was in the high level.  2. A result of comparing ethical behaviour before and after the activity management in accordance with Buddhist doctrines to socialize the students’ behaviour in KhonKaen polytechnic college, KhonKaen province was found that ethical behaviour before and after the activity management in accordance with Buddhist doctrines to socialize the students’ behaviour in KhonKaen polytechnic college, KhonKaen province as a whole and each aspect was in the statistically significant difference at the level of .01. 3. A way and some suggestions of the activities management in accordance with the Buddhist doctrine to socialize the students’ ethical behaviour in KhonKaen polytechnic college, KhonKaen province were in the following aspects. The school ought to inform people and the interested to participate in an alms-giving activity or to organize it more times. The school ought to give more information about the Buddhist lent that it was a time of the monk’s Buddhist study through three months because there was a few leaders to do it. Finally, the school ought to organize the activities on Buddhist important days because they could reduce a number of the students’ unwanted behaviour in the polytechnic college.
