Buddhist Psychological Factors towards the Development of Teacher’s Quality of Life in Buriram Province

Abstract

The objective of academic article is to study Buddhist psychological factors and development of teachers’ quality of life in Buriram Province, to study the relationship of Buddhist psychological factors and development of teachers’ quality of life in Buriram Province, and to offer guideline to promote the development of teachers’ quality of life in Buriram Province according to Buddhist psychology. The mixed methods research is used and conclusion of portion details was criticized following to induction method.


The result of research finds that: there are 4 sections of psychology factors; 1) duty healthy, 2) social and economic healthy, 3), spiritual healthy and 4) family healthy. There are 3 sections in Buddhist factors; 1) morality, 2) concentration and 3) wisdom.
Psychology factor of spiritual healthy relates to positive condition in low level with Buddhist factor which effects to development of teacher’s quality of life on moral and wisdom. Spiritual healthy relates to negative condition in lower level with Buddhist factor on concentration. Social and economic healthy relates to positive condition in lower level with Buddhist factor on wisdom. Duty healthy relates to negative condition in lower level with Buddhist factor on wisdom. Family healthy relates to positive condition in lower level with Buddhist factor on morality and concentration and relates to negative condition in lower level with Buddhist factor on wisdom.
The guideline to promote Buddhist psychological factor and development of teacher’s quality of life finds that it relates to 3 Buddhist factor; morality, concentration and wisdom. it supports 9 guidelines; 1) satisfaction of teacher ship, 2) mind calmness, 3) being self-value, 4) affection of organization, 5) oneself-understanding, 6) to live harmonizes with natural, 7) be kindness with colleague, 8) being self-confident and reduces stress on work and 9) be trust and reach the highest of teacher ship.
