The Driving Model of Principle of Ten Good Governance of Local Administrative Organizations in Northeastern Region

Abstract

This research aimed 1) study level of achievement of implementing administrating indications derived from principles of ten good governance in local administrative organizations in northeastern region, 2) study factors that affected the achievement of implementation of indication local administrative organizations in northeastern region and 3) develop and affirm model of the indications based on principles of ten good governance of local administrative organizations in northeastern region. The data were collected from officers and staff who work in local administrative organizations with in northeastern region. Then analyzed with descriptive statistics for means and standard derivation and inferential statistics for multiple linear regression. In addition, content was analyzed for the qualitative data of this research. This research aimed 1) study level of achievement of implementing administrating indications derived from principles of ten good governance in local administrative organizations in northeastern region, 2) study factors that affected the achievement of implementation of indication local administrative organizations in northeastern region and 3) develop and affirm model of the indications based on principles of ten good governance of local administrative organizations in northeastern region. The findings revealed:


1. That in overall, the offericers and staff’s level of achievement of implementing administrating indication derived from principles of ten good governance in local administrative organizations in northeastern region is at hight level. Considering each aspect, the findings showed that principle of transparency ( gif.latex?\bar{x}= 4.19)  received the highest average, following by principle of accountability (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.13), Learning Organization (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.09), Information and principle of participation (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.04) respectively. However, the least successful implementation was Rule of Law principle (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 3.62). 


2. That factors affecting the officers and staff’s achievement on implementating the indication derived from principle of ten good governance in northeastern region were overall in high level. Considering each aspect, the findings reported that skills (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.16) the highest mean score, following by Structure (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.15), Style (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.02), Shared Values (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 3.99), Strategy (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 3.94), Staff (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 3.90)  and Systems (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 3.86) respectively. 


3. That models of the indication based on principles of ten good governance of local administrative organizations in northeastern region comprised system readiness, participation of the officers, structural suitability of units, lucid strategies, staff’s competence and style of leader.
