Phrae Provincial’s Community Enterprises: Knowledge and Network’s Management for Sustainable Development

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the present context and operational problems of the Phrae Provincial’s Community Enterprises; 2) to study the principles, theories about the body of knowledge and network’s management for sustainable development; 3) to study and analysis the relative systems and success of net work’s management towards the sustainable development of the community enterprises; 4) to present the body of knowledge and systems of network’s management towards sustainable development. It was mixed method research by using the qualitative with in-depth interview and focus group discussion.
The findings of this research were as follows:
1. The present context of Phrae Provincial’s Community Enterprises had implemented very long time. It had adjusted the strategy following the situation change of the country to the present time. It had driven systematically. It had added the income to the entrepreneur and producer in the community both medium and small size. It had problems of production, market, design, distribution, had no information center and the material problems.
2. The overall opinions of member of community enterprise about body of knowledge and network’s management for sustainable development of the Phrae Provincial’s Community Enterprises were statistically rated at a high level (= 3.95).
3. The results of the study of the relative systems and success of network’s management towards Phrae Provincial’s Community Enterprises for sustainable development were found that there were not network’s management systems clearly. It was separate the manufactural implementation, relative systems of network’s management were not tight relation but the community enterprises had good implemented.
4. The results of the study the body of knowledge and systems of network’s management affected sustainable development of Phrae Provincial’s Community Enterprises were found that it was the network’s management which was on the way of self-sufficient economy, used local culture way and local material. Moreover, the people in the community had participated in the business planning and it had also helped each other in management for good quality of life.
