Abstract

The objects of this research were 1) to study the concepts of compassion therapy and Physical therapy 2) to study the problem of stroke patients in Buddachinaraj The objects of this research were 1) to study the concepts of compassion therapy and Physical therapy 2) to study the problem of stroke patients in Buddachinaraj Phitsanuloke hospital and 3) to study relationship between compassion therapy and Physical therapy healing the patients: a case study of stroke patients in Buddachinaraj Phitsanuloke Hospital. Action research methodology was here in used by using quantitative method to extend qualitative results. As well as participation observation and in-depth interview .The purposive sampling of the percent study consist of 10 stroke patients, 5 Physical therapist and care givers. The research instruments were group exercise, indicator form of World Health Organization in Thai version (WHOQOL-BREF-THAI) adaptation. The present study was carried out in favor of the holistic paradigm. 


The research finding were as follows:


1. Compassion Therapy is the choice to treatment with the new medical concept. It is a part of four sublime states of mind (loving-kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy and equanimity). It is a great desire to keep the patient out of the state of being suffed. As to be virtuous in mind with physical expression. Good speech by telling patients and relatives of the process of healing and the mind is a good desirous for the patient to find a way to cure him to recover with a psychic without prejudice.


2. Cerebrovascular disease caused by ischemia. There were 2 Major causes; infarction/Ischemic and Hemorrhage. Sign and symptoms depend on pathology in brain example weakness at the one side of the body, poor communication etc. Impairment were interrupting the activity daily living.


3. Relationship between compassion therapy and physical therapy healing the patients was found both positive to motivate and complementary to one another improve the Holistic Health. Relatives or therapists were required to promote positive forces and go in the same direction.
